In a delicious, unexpected finale to your al fresco meal, sumac makes a surprise appearance.  This complete-in-one-dish dessert will be a winner.

It's only natural that Australia's own lean red meat should marry perfectly with our all-Australian Native Barbecue Spice mix.  This dish has an elegant simplicity that makes it a great dinner option for overseas guests as well as the family.

Cardamom, known in India as "the queen of spices", is a natural choice when spicing fruit.  To save time, use Herbie's Spices Cardamom Seed Green Ground, and you'll have a fabulous summer dessert in a flash.

This is one of the simplest and most successful of desserts.  The spiced sugar syrup can be made in advance and kept in the freezer.

Perfect fresh figs do not need much embellishment.  A gentle dusting of ground cardamom seed adds a touch of exotica without overpowering the unique fig flavour.

These tasty lamb morsels have an authentic Middle-Eastern flavour and are simple to prepare.  If you don't have long metal skewers, you can use the same method but put smaller quantities on to soaked bamboo skewers.

If you are really in a hurry, used a can of cooked lentils.
